Call of Duty: World at War on populaarne sõjamäng.
Kuna Wii jääb jõudluselt Playstation 3 ja Xbox 360 konsoolidele alla, siis on Wii versioonis madalam graafika ja liikumise sujuvus, puuduvad ka osad võimalused, mis on PC ja teiste konsoolide Call of Duty mängudes (näiteks final KillCams, third-person vaade, DLC map'id, split screen).

Selle hüvitamiseks on tehtud ainult Wii mängule järgmised muudatused ja eripärad:

• The game mode "Team Survival" appears as a Wii exclusive.
• The M2 Flamethrower has a different reticle.
• The Iron sights on the Kar98k are different.
• The M1 Garand has a faster ADS time when equipped with the scope.
• Squadmate Mode appears as an exclusive, it allows two players at a time to play on a single screen. Though there are several limitations to it and what the second player can do.
